Spock has learned a great many things he did not ask to nor consent to being made aware of in the last 75.28 hours.
He has learned how many languages Doctor McCoy is fluent specifically in the invective vernacular of. He has learned seven new ways to be called an 'idiot' when Nyota comes through to check up on him and finds out just How Spock ended up in this biobed convalescing. She had, in fact, come through earlier while he had still been in a healing trance and been unable to either be aware of or reply to her care. Spock briefly considers how likely it is that Doctor McCoy has gone to the Lieutenant for specifically foul language lessons. He determines the answer to be neither relevant or pleasurable to entertain.
All that is to say, he is Finding Out what Jim already knows about being an intensive care patient amongst the bridge crew. As the saying goes, "Everyone's a critic." Especially, Spock notates, when the subject of that criticism is unconscious or otherwise unable to respond.
He is therefore gratified for a more private place to recover. The process does drag on longer than he wishes to be kept from his duties. Even upon his release he is festooned with appointments and referrals for follow-on care. None of which Spock is in the humor to think too heavily about when he is allowed to leave. Especially considering he is not even out of the door when he notes that Captain Kirk is waiting for him.]
Captain. [by way of greeting. He takes in Kirk's appearance. How long has he been seated outside waiting?] By what qualifiers do you determine how someone is looking 'good'?
